***Ambient temperature is acceptable if submitted within 24 hours.

Bone Marrow specimens will be forwarded to Mayo for testing for all cultures (fungal, bacterial, and AFB).

Test Schedule / Analytical Time / Test Priority

Daily / Reported when positive. Negative final at 28 days/ Fungul smear is Not available STAT
