Methodology
Agglutination by Tube Test
Reporting
The sample is held 72 hours for possible additional orders. The reason it is held only 72 hours is because the antibody screen test must be completed within 72 hours of blood collection. If the additional orders are received after 72 hours, a new sample will need to be obtained.
