Specimen Source: Vagina

Submission Container/Tube: Clean test tube

Collection & handling:

1. A swab of vaginal discharge is placed in a

    tube containing l mL of saline and gently agitated.
2. Keep specimen at body temperature as much as possible.
3. Submit immediately to the laboratory.
