Specimen Type: Urine
Container/Tube: Plastic Container
Specimen Volume: 10.0 mL
Specimen Minimum Volume: 0.5 mL
Collection Instructions:
1. Send specimen in plastic container with lid securely attached. Submit refrigerated aliquot from a random urine collection or submit entire Urine Cup.
2. Place patient label on container, not on lid.
3. No preservative. Refrigerate specimen after collection.
4. Urine samples are stable for 5 days at 2 – 8ºC.
